"Arrived very late, flight delays and then a road closure forcing a substantial detour. Thankfully my room card had been left out with a useful note and I was able to access the room. It was cold, no curtains, and couldn't figure out the heating but the bed was warm and that was all I cared about! Shower okay in the morning, Job done. Thanks."

"Another great stay! Lovely room. Breakfast always wonderful. We also had lunch which was really good. The place and the staff never disappoint. We didnt catch the name of the lovely waitress who served us brekfast and lunch but she was very efficient and professional. We visited the spa twice which is always great - must try and book in the summer when we can sit in the gardens."

"Great 16thC Pub in a small village. Excellent food, wonderful staff. I visited the Duxford war museum, about 30 minutes away. The location of the Cricketers is very rural - so if you are looking for a quaint English village feel - this hits the mark."
